Act as the single owner and custodian of a modern, cloud-based global data platform. __ Lead a team of data platform engineers and collaborate with product, data foundations, AI platform, and technology teams. __ Define and execute the data platform roadmap to support the Digital Data strategy, including enabling domain-oriented data product ownership in line with Data Mesh principles. __ Develop, manage, and enhance the global data platform based on AWS and Snowflake. __ Design and implement solutions to support various data types with proper controls. __ Integrate Data and AI platforms and develop platform automation and reusable components. __ Advocate for the platform and communicate with management and stakeholders. __ Establish global data platform standards and lead multidisciplinary teams, promoting federated governance and self-serve data infrastructure __ About You __ Qualifications: __ Bachelor's/Master's in STEM or a relevant field. __ 8+ years of experience in #designing, #developing, and #maintaining data platforms and large data solutions. __ Experience in leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex data solutions and projects. __ Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to align technical solutions with business goals. __ Strong knowledge of data integration technologies, ETL/ELT, and modern data engineering technologies, with experience implementing or supporting Data Mesh architectures. __ Expertise in multimodal data systems and distributed architectures (AWS, Snowflake, Spark, Hadoop, Kafka). __ Hands-on experience with data warehouse/lake solutions and data architectures. __ Proficiency in SQL (preferably Snowflake) and programming languages (Python, Shell scripting, Scala/Java). __ Strong background in cloud technologies and services, preferably AWS. __ Understanding of software application development, agile methodologies, and data/digital strategy and governance, including decentralized data ownership models. __ Knowledge of data security, compliance standards (e.g., GDPR), and best practices in data governance. __ Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, proficiency in automating workflows and implementing CI/CD processes for data systems. __ Familiarity with Data Mesh concepts such as data as a product, domain-driven design, and federated computational governance is a strong plus __ Curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
