The Global Product Solutions (GPS) Technology team develops cutting-edge solutions for Structured Products, Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives. We are seeking a seasoned Front Arena developer to join our Front Arena Centre of Excellence in Zurich. In this role, you will focus on the risk and valuation domains within the FIS Front Arena platform. You'll design, develop, and support core functionalities, driving enhancements to the system’s architecture and integrations with front-to-back trading systems. Operating in an agile, global environment, you will ensure reliable, high-performance solutions aligned with trading and risk management needs. YOUR CHALLENGE Customize and extend the Front Arena platform to deliver new risk and valuation capabilities Design, develop, test, and deploy robust functionalities integrated across trading and back-office ecosystems Ensure end-to-end ownership of critical services, guaranteeing high availability and minimal production downtime Lead integration efforts between Front Arena and upstream/downstream systems (pricing, market data, risk engines) Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex production incidents efficiently Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 production support, ensuring swift incident response and resolution Conduct thorough code reviews to uphold quality, security, and alignment with architectural standards Identify and implement system improvements to boost performance, scalability, and operational resilience Contribute to change and release management processes within an agile (SAFe) delivery framework Uphold ethical conduct, risk discipline, and compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements YOUR PROFILE 8+ years of experience in IT roles supporting trading, valuation, or risk systems 8+ years of hands-on development with Front Arena AEL, ACM, and ADFL (all three required) Solid understanding of capital markets, particularly structured products and equity derivatives In-depth knowledge of financial product lifecycles (e.g., cash flows, corporate actions, expiries) Practical experience with Front Arena data models, workflows, and component interactions Proficiency in Python and SQL ; familiarity with MS-SQL Server and Windows-based environments Experience working in agile teams using tools such as Git or Bitbucket Proven ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders Comfortable working under pressure, with strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise dynamically Customer-focused mindset with empathy, adaptability, and a hands-on, solution-driven attitude Willingness and ability to take part in a rotating on-call schedule to provide continuous 24/7 production support as required We are looking forward to receiving your full job application through our online application tool.
