Registered Nurse (RN) Med/Surg - 1st Acute Key Details: Location: Penn Yan, NY Level 1 Part-time Days/Nights rotation $55–$58/hr, depending on experience The Level 1 Registered Nurse (RN) in the Med/Surg 1st Acute unit provides safe, high-quality nursing care to adult patients in an acute care hospital setting. This part-time role supports both day and night shifts, delivering patient-centered care while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to Med/Surg acute care patients Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered Monitor patient condition and respond promptly to changes in status Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record Follow all hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control practices Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing leadership, and care teams Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Level 1 RN experience or demonstrated competency in acute care nursing Prior Med/Surg experience preferred BLS required Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills Schedule & Work Requirements: Part-Time: 2 x 12-hour shifts per week Days/Nights rotation Every other weekend required No on-call required At Blue United Sourcing ,  we connect you with: Top-paying contracts Flexible schedules Hands-on support every step of the way JobID 145 We’re Hiring Nationwide!   Looking to work in a different state?  Join our Talent Network and you’ll hear from us when a job in your desired location is available!
