Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate safe and effective birthing experiences. Educate patients and their families regarding the labor and delivery process, potential complications, and newborn care. Document all assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in medical records. Support families by providing emotional support and guidance throughout the labor and delivery process. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate's degree acceptable with relevant experience. At least 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery or maternal care is preferred. Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are required; NRP certification is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple patients simultaneously.
