Egypt Education Platform is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Secondary Physics / Chemistry Teacher - IGCES / A level to join our dedicated team at GEMS - TBS (The British School Al-Rehab). The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching of Physics and/or Chemistry at IGCSE and A Level , ensuring excellent academic outcomes and fostering a positive, engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that align with the British curriculum for Secondary students. Prepare students for IGCSE and A Level examinations. Monitor and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback and support to enhance their learning experience. Create a welcoming classroom environment that promotes respect, curiosity, and a love for learning. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress and encouraging parental involvement. Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a cohesive educational experience and engage in ongoing curriculum development. Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities to stay informed and improve teaching practices. Support students’ social and emotional growth while fostering positive behavior and classroom dynamics. Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, or a related field. PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification. Proven experience teaching IGCSE and A Level (e.g., Cambridge Assessment International Education or Pearson Edexcel). Strong subject knowledge and exam preparation experience. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Previous experience in a British or international school is a must.
