About the role Borrowell is looking for a Marketing Specialist (Partnerships/Affiliates) to help fulfill Borrowell’s mission to make financial prosperity possible for everyone. You’ll manage and scale our partnership/affiliate/referral channels to grow user acquisitions and help more Canadians on their financial journey. In this role, you’ll own partner acquisitions and relationships on mobile app (e.g., AppsFlyer) and web affiliate platforms (e.g., Impact Radius). The ideal candidate will also scale our Refer-a-Friend program for existing Borrowell members (individuals and influencers) to drive growth from word-of-mouth. If you’re someone who can manage relationships, understand how to manage ROI/CPA, and feel comfortable with the technical/operational aspects of these channels, this is the position for you! Key Responsibilities Partner Channels: Scale programmatic mobile app partners, leveraging AppsFlyer (or similar) to track performance and combat ad fraud; scale affiliate web partners using platforms like Impact Radius. Technical Proficiency: Ensure tracking and attribution are accurate by working with internal Engineering and Data teams and with partners, as applicable Creative: Develop, deliver and test creative assets such as graphics, videos/animations, and landing pages based on the audience segments Analysis and Reporting: Maintain performance dashboards to identify opportunities to grow volume, improve ROI and empower partners to optimize their campaigns Experimentation: Design and execute tests on messaging, landing pages, and creative formats to improve conversions through the user journey Experience: 2+ years in scaling partnerships, referrals or affiliate (B2C or B2B) Marketing stack: Hands-on experience with AppsFlyer (or equivalent) and affiliate platforms (e.g. Impact Radius or equivalent) Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of attribution for web and mobile app (we use AppsFlyer), event/pixel setup, tracking links, and UTMs Data-Driven: Experience analyzing and making recommendations using data (we use Looker), while applying intuition as appropriate Nice to haves Experience working in fintech, e-commerce or an online marketplace Experience working with influencers and UGC (user-generated content)
