Systems Engineer - Verification Team Lead Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Systems Engineer – Verification Team Lead to support the B-52J Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CER P) in Oklahoma City, OK .  The selected candidate will lead the verification efforts for a major defense program.  As a Boeing employee, you’ll be part of a winning team that does great things every day.  Step into a fast-paced, cutting-edge program where your expertise will define the verification approach for the B-52J re-engine program. As a key contributor and team lead, you will lead the verification efforts with internal and external stakeholders from Critical Design Review (CDR) through System Verification Review (SVR).    You will work with a high-performing, cross-functional team, driving next-generation capabilities from design through delivery. Position Responsibilities: Lead a cross-functional team of systems engineers and technical professionals in the development and execution of the program verification plan. Work closely with other engineering functions to perform inspections, analysis to include analyzing test results, and demonstrations to ensure compliance to requirements. Interface with Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) to ensure the aircraft test program supports the needs defined in the system verification plan. Mentor early career engineers in the planning and execution of the system verification efforts. Support project planning and status activities including proposals as needed. Provide support to control account managers (CAMs) to status cost, schedule, and execution of all work packages within the team. This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement 9+ years of experience in systems engineering, systems integration, or verification.  Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience as Technical Lead Engineer (TLE) in verification Experience in developing verification plans and executing verification efforts for major DoD acquisition programs Experience with systems engineering best practices and processes Experience working within the Systems Engineering Lifecycle including System Requirements Reviews, Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews, System Verification Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, and/or Technical Working Groups Experience using artifact management tools such as CMPro, DOORS, and Cameo.
