The VCU Health Anesthesiology Department is seeking a full-time Program Support Assistant to perform a variety of administrative/clerical support functions for the Department. The position will involve credentialing for providers and provider enrollment with payers. This position will also be responsible for maintenance of the department website. They will work with the Associate Administrator and the Financial Reporting Analyst in API managing department timekeeping and work with payroll submission tasks, as well as various general administrative tasks within the department. This position reports onsite in downtown Richmond. Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire: N/A Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment: N/A Experience REQUIRED: Minimum of two (2) years of previous secretarial/administrative work experience in an office setting Previous experience with Microsoft Office applications & e-mail/calendaring Experience PREFERRED: Three (3) years of previous secretarial/administrative work experience in an office setting Previous experience in a health care setting Education/training REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent Education/training PREFERRED: Post High School coursework in Business, Accounting or closely related field Independent action(s) required: Performs administrative/clerical duties independently and without direct supervision.
