The Role As a Front Desk Security Receptionist you will serve as the first line of defense, providing a secure, welcoming environment by controlling building access, monitoring surveillance systems, and assisting visitors. Key duties include verifying identification, issuing badges, managing logs, enforcing safety policies, and responding to emergencies to protect residents, employees, and property.  This role will require you to be licensed to carry a firearm and may require overtime to cover high-traffic periods or special events. Key Responsibilities Access Control:  Greet visitors, check identification, issue visitor badges, and ensure only authorized personnel enter the building. Surveillance and Monitoring :  Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and, if necessary, patrol the premises to identify suspicious activity or safety hazards. Incident Response :  Respond to security breaches, emergencies, and alarms, contacting police or fire services when necessary. Administrative Support :  Maintain accurate daily logs of visitors, key control, and incident reports, and manage deliveries. Customer Service:  Provide a professional, welcoming, yet firm presence, answering inquiries and directing visitors.  The Front Desk Security Receptionist is a onsite position located at our One Vanderbilt Ave corporate offices. Experience: 5 years’ experience in Physical Security and Electronic Security Systems. Skills:  Strong communication (verbal/written), proficiency with computers and security software, observation skills, and de-escalation techniques. Physical:  Ability to sit or stand for long periods, potentially walk, and lift moderate weight. Licensing:  Often requires state-mandated security guard certification or licensing. Attributes:  Sound judgment, high ethical standards, and calm demeanor in high-pressure situations. The Front Desk Security Receptionist is a onsite position located at our One Vanderbilt Ave corporate offices. The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is - $61,560 to $117,000 based on a full-time schedule.    Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience.   For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement. There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:  California:$67,680 to $140,400  Colorado:   $61,560 to $117,000  New York City:   $73,920 to $140,400  Washington:   $67,680 to $128,760  Washington DC:$67,680 to $128,760     This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off.  Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
