MediCard  is currently looking for assertive, dynamic and energetic individuals to fill up the following vacancy: The IT Infrastructure Management Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s network and infrastructure systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability. This role oversees network architecture, server infrastructure, cloud services, and disaster recovery strategies while leading a team of IT professionals to deliver reliable and secure technology services. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Network Management: • Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, and wireless networks. • Monitor network performance and implement improvements to ensure high availability and reliability. Infrastructure Oversight: • Manage on-premises and cloud-based servers, storage systems, and virtualization platforms. • Oversee data center operations and ensure compliance with industry standards. Security & Compliance: • Implement and maintain network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal security policies. Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: • Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies. • Conduct regular testing of disaster recovery plans. Team Leadership: • Lead and mentor the network and infrastructure team. • Coordinate with other IT units and business stakeholders to align infrastructure with organizational goals. Vendor & Budget Management: • Manage relationships with hardware, software, and service vendors. • Prepare and manage budgets for network and infrastructure projects.
