The Role Infrastructure Architects are the key link between Kyndryl and our clients. You’re in a technical leadership role, uniting and guiding stakeholders from clients, governance, and project executives to delivery and sometimes even the vendors who work with the client. You’ll be there from the start of a project — understanding what’s needed and figuring out the best technical solution. And you’ll be there at the finish, delivering the right product on time and within budget. As an Infrastructure Architect, you’ll draw upon the full breadth of your talent and experience. This is a technical leadership role, so we want you to bring your vision, knowledge, and leadership to each project. To the client, you’re the subject matter expert – consulting early, gathering inputs, understanding what they need from our solution. You define what Kyndryl can do to meet this solution. You design the best solution for the job. And finally, you’re the tech leader for implementation. Required Technical and Professional Experience Design and implement hybrid and multi-cloud architectures (Azure, AWS, GCP). Lead infrastructure modernization initiatives, including migration from on-prem to cloud. Define technical standards, best practices, and governance frameworks for infrastructure and cloud services. Collaborate with security, networking, and application teams to ensure compliance and resilience. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions aligned with business goals. Develop disaster recovery and business continuity strategies. Optimize cost, performance, and scalability of infrastructure and cloud environments. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Proven expertise in Azure and/or AWS (certifications preferred: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional). Preferred Technical and Professional Experience 6+ years in IT infrastructure architecture, with at least 3 years in private/hybrid/public cloud architecture. Familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift). Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace). Exposure to multi-cloud strategies and hybrid environments. Strong knowledge of Networking (VPC, VPN, DNS, firewalls) Strong knowledge of Compute and Storage (VMs, containers, Kubernetes) Strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management (Active Directory, Azure AD) Strong knowledge of Automation and IaC (Terraform, Ansible, ARM templates) Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.Solid understanding of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
