MediCard  is currently looking for assertive, dynamic and energetic individuals to fill up the following vacancy: • Act as the liaison between information technology and business for IT finance-related activities • Coordinate with relevant information technology departments and third-party vendors • Prepare communications and facilitate presentations on IT Financials • Ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements related to IT financials. DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES Strategic IT Financial Planning & Analysis • Lead the development and execution of IT financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts. • Oversee financial performance tracking across IT portfolios, projects, and services. • Provide executive-level insights and recommendations through cost-benefit and ROI analyses. FinOps Leadership & Cloud Cost Optimization • Champion FinOps practices across the organization to ensure cloud cost accountability and efficiency. • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to optimize cloud resource utilization. • Establish governance frameworks and reporting mechanisms for cloud spend management. Cost Allocation & Financial Governance • Design and implement cost allocation models aligned with business and IT service delivery. • Ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting for IT services and cloud resources. • Promote financial transparency and accountability across departments. Vendor Financial Oversight & Contract Management • Lead financial evaluations and negotiations for IT vendor contracts and renewals. • Monitor vendor spend against contractual terms and strategic budgets. • Partner with Procurement and Legal teams to ensure financially sound sourcing decisions. Performance Monitoring & Executive Reporting • Develop and maintain executive dashboards and KPIs for IT financial performance. • Present financial insights and trends to senior leadership and governance bodies. • Ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements related to IT financials. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred). • 5+ years of experience in IT financial management, FinOps, or related leadership roles. • Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and FinOps frameworks. • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and storytelling skills using Excel and PowerPoint. • Familiarity with financial tools (e.g., Apptio, CloudHealth, or similar platforms). • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • FinOps certification or equivalent training is a strong advantage.
