Connect with a career that matters, and help us build a safer future. The Video Devices Teams in the R&D center in Krakow have been growing dynamically since 2019. Currently, we have more than 60 specialists on board working on solutions for fixed and mobile (body-worn) cameras. We bring advanced video capabilities to public safety and commercial customers including healthcare, airports, retail, critical infrastructure, and public venues. Job Description The Krakow Camera Firmware team is seeking a Software Engineering Manager who will oversee a Scrum team's managerial aspects throughout the end-to-end implementation and maintenance of selected smart camera features and modules. Responsibilities include: Partner with cross-functional teams (Hardware, QA, Product) to deliver on firmware release commitments and ensure alignment with company roadmaps. Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of talented engineers. Develop people and the team through planning, coaching, challenging assignments, feedback, and support. Identify knowledge gaps and assist employees in creating plans to address them. Define standard metrics and utilize them to report the current status of ongoing initiatives. Basic Requirements Experience in leading people as a manager or technical lead. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities, identify risks/issues, formulate recommendations, and drive sound decisions that deliver results. Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and presentation skills. English language proficiency that allows efficient communication. Education at the college/university level in a technical field (Engineering / IT).
