The Role As a IWS Systems Programming, you’ll be responsible for creating, scheduling, and monitoring jobs in IWS, troubleshooting failures, and ensuring smooth batch process execution. Works with IT and operations teams to optimize workflows and maintain automation standards. Responsibilites: Create and configure jobs in IWS, following team standards and guidelines. Monitor job execution, identify failures, and report issues for resolution. Perform simple adjustments in scripts and workflows to ensure correct execution. Document basic procedures for job creation and maintenance. Assist in analyzing dependencies and schedules, ensuring proper execution order. Support operations team in resolving scheduling-related incidents. Learn and apply best practices for automation and process integration. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C, C++. Excel in problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Experience in operating systems (Linux, UNIX, or z/OS) Preferred Skills and Experience: Experience with NetView / SysView, FTP, SFTP, Axway CFT, Connect: Direct, VIPA, DVIPA, etc. ideally in a complex GDPS environment.
