The Role Seeking an Expert in Application Architecture and Design Are you highly skilled in application architecture and design? As an Application Architect, you will be responsible for designing advanced software frameworks, systems, and products that set new standards in the industry. You will leverage your deep technical expertise to build system interfaces and business application prototypes, while identifying and resolving architectural design challenges. You will also provide technical leadership to the application development team, conduct design and code reviews, and help maintain consistent enterprise-wide application design standards. Additionally, you will collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure that the architecture aligns with business requirements and supports the successful achievement of project goals. Your expertise in designing key components of application architecture—such as user interfaces, middleware, and infrastructure—will be essential as you create and maintain documentation related to software architecture, design processes, component integration, testing guidelines, and other critical elements. Required Technical and Professional Experience Experience in architectural design for large-scale customer transformation projects Deep knowledge of hardware and software, including hands-on experience with cross-platform connectivity Preferred Technical and Professional Experience The Open Group Master Certified Architect (or equivalent certification) Hands-on experience working in a mainframe environment Experience with the following types of mainframe projects: Modernise On Integrate With Move Off Strong understanding of   z/OS,   IBM software products, and   third-party mainframe software Being You Diversity is a whole lot more than what we look like or where we come from, it’s how we think and who we are.
