      JOB DESCRIPTION: Main Purpose of the Role Summarize the main purpose of the role Individual contributor that works under limited supervision. Applies subject matter knowledge. Requires capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge. Responsible for maximising the effectiveness of the organisation's supply chain. Main Responsibilities List the main responsibilities this role regularly performs. Collect and analyse data systems, procedural activities and information flows and assess the efficiency and costs of logistics processes. Research operational costs, industry and regulatory issues and maintain a current and comprehensive database on which to draw for solutions development. Use statistical modeling skills to develop, and cost justify logistics solutions to meet agreed customer needs. Manage inventories and tactical planning, taking into account customer's future needs. Manage /coordinate inter-company shipments and troubleshooting.
