Title: Quantity Surveyor Job Title Quantity Surveyor - Buildings KBR Kuwait is looking for a Quantity Surveyor for the buildings projects. Summary Section   Monitors progress within construction projects by measuring and evaluating installed quantities on a project against the plan. Metrics include exposure to cost benefit analysis. Value engineering, and feasibility studies pertaining to work, labor, and materials needed. Responsibilities:  Responsibilities include quantity tracking, forecasting, estimate loading, and MTO updating from IFC drawings for progress measurement. Under general supervision, and occasional direct supervision, performs assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within project controls. Displays core competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills. Qualifications including Required Education, Experience, & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in science or arts Total post-graduation experience of minimum 8 years Total post-graduation experience as Quantity Surveyor of minimum 5 years Must have prior experience in buildings type of projects Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications specifically: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Word Expertise to interface well with the project engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and other members of the project team including the client Preferred Qualifications Education, Experience, & Skills: Must have experience in quantity surveying, quantity measurement, re measurable, bill of materials type contracts Decarbonization – Energy Transition – Sustainability Belong.
