This focused and dynamic group is dedicated to expanding our client relationships across the entire Market Intelligence portfolio of products and services. As a Divisional Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and enhancing client relationships, ensuring that our offerings meet the evolving needs of our customers.  As a Divisional Account Manager, you are the primary commercial lead responsible for managing existing client accounts with a focus on net revenue growth which includes selling into and retaining the book of business, while delivering an overall positive experience for our clients. The Team: The successful candidate will be part of the Pacific Divisional Account Management Team. The Team is committed to supporting our clients with innovative solutions that address their most pressing challenges across the capital markets workflow. You will need to collaborate closely with the Sales Specialists, Customer Success, Product teams, Chief Client Office and Legal teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to our clients Responsibilities and Impact : We value teamwork, innovation, and a proactive approach to meeting client needs. The successful candidate needs to have the ability to engage in meaningful conversations with clients alongside delivering exceptional value and insights that help our clients navigate complex financial data landscapes. Key responsibilities include Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients in your defined list of accounts to ensure client satisfaction and retention. Build and execute comprehensive account strategies that identify opportunities for engagement, growth and expansion across Market Intelligence products and services. Manage the renewal book of business, focusing on growth and retention of existing accounts. Maintain excellent Salesforce hygiene by ensuring accurate and timely updates of client interactions and account information. This includes ensuring pipeline accuracy and forecasting results effectively.  Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Sales Specialists, Customer Support, Product Management, Chief Client Office and Legal to ensure to ensure a cohesive and aligned approach to addressing client needs and maximizing upsell opportunities.  Provide insights and feedback from clients to help improve product offerings and tailor solutions to market needs. Represent the company at industry events and client meetings to enhance brand presence and client engagement. What We are Looking For: Basic Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate will embody the values of partnership, relationship-building, and effective communication. Key qualifications include:  Commercial Mindset: You should have a strong understanding of capital market workflows and personas, with prior experience selling to or interacting with buy-side professionals being a significant advantage. You should also possess a genuine interest in proactively engaging with clients and developing industry-specific knowledge. Proven experience in account management or sales, preferably within the financial services industry for 5+ years Communication Skills: You must have exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills and be confident in client interactions both in person and virtually. Your ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively will be essential.  Creative Problem-Solving: A proven ability to think creatively to drive solutions that meet client needs using the S&P Global suite of solutions. You should be adept at diagnosing client challenges and proposing tailored solutions.  Collaboration: A demonstrated track record of collaborating with sales teams and other stakeholders to identify and drive synergy and cross-sell opportunities.  Educational Background & Experience: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant discipline, along with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in sales or a related field.  Technical Proficiency: Highly proficient in MS Office and CRM systems, with the ability to leverage technology to enhance sales processes and client engagement.
