Position Summary: This position requires an ambitious professional to join the Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense team supporting AMR Financial Shared Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor relationships, ensuring accurate and timely payments, maintaining financial records, overseeing AP inbox management, and supporting all Travel & Expense (T&E) operations. *This person must reside in Sao Paulo and commute 2-3 days/week to our corporate LATAM HQ.  Key Duties and Responsibilities : Process invoices in SAP/VIM, ensuring correct coding, approvals, and timely payments. Perform 2‑way/3‑way PO matching, resolve discrepancies, and manage supplier inquiries. Analyze invoice issues across systems and collaborate with IS and Purchasing to resolve root causes. Maintain accurate Vendor Master Data and support audit requests. Complete GR/IR reconciliations and ensure compliance with internal controls (SOX, Signature Authority, Sunshine Act, policies). Support T&E operations, including reviewing expenses, managing corporate cards, and ensuring policy compliance (Concur/AppZen). Perform month-end AP and T&E reconciliations and provide accurate documentation to Accounting/GL teams. Maintain employee and vendor banking information. Assist with other AP/T&E duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Effective communication (oral and written), intermediate English, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to demonstrate problem identification and resolution Working knowledge of accounting principles - accrual experience helpful Typically requires a minimum of 4 - 6 years of Accounts payable and Travel & Expense experience with heavy volume Proficiency in Excel, and other similar desktop applications Including pivot tables, V-Lookups, and formulas Strong customer service skills: ability to work in a team environment Effective organizational and time management skills Self-motivated; high bias for action and able to work independently. SAP/Vendor Invoice Management/AppZen, Concur (or local system) preferred experience.
