The business line Industrial Merchant sells packaged gases (high-pressure gas cylinders) through multiple channels to cover all customer needs: over the phone, e-commerce and/or via its distribution network. Sales is organized in 4 business areas: Manufacturing and Process, Food & Pharma, Research and Analysis and Entrepreneurs & Professionals. AIR LIQUIDE AALTER  Air Liquide at Aalter is a production unit of pure hydrocarbons for the Air Liquide Group. These hydrocarbons are produced and filled at Air Liquide Aalter. The production is done  with a distillation column and reactor.  The control of raw materials and end products are done into the lab of Air Liquide Aalter. MAIN ACTIONS, TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Production Management:  Production of the hydrocarbons by a distillation column and reactor Filling and handling of cylinders and bundles containing the produced hydrocarbons Loading and unloading of transports with forklift (a forklift driver certificate is an advantage) 2. Stock & Transport Coordination:   Order intake: control of the incoming orders + putting the orders in a local Stock program. Control of the incoming deliveries of gas cylinders. Make: delivery notes / ADR / IMDG transport documents for the daily transports + production orders in SAP + the certificates. Report deliveries and cylinder rental to invoice services Monthly and yearly inventory 3. Laboratory Management: Analyze the raw materials, products made by reactor and distillation column during production + filled cylinders (end product). Management of the analysers, their methods and software (Chromeleon). Lab and quality reporting. In this role: You report to the Plant Manager of Air Liquide Aalter . WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS? Bachelor in industrial sciences (electromechanics, electronics or chemistry). Experience in an industrial environment with proven ability to work in a polyvalent role. Fluent in Dutch with good knowledge of English. French would be an asset. Manipulations with gas cylinders will be necessary.. Knowledge of gas chromatography ,   electrical installations and automatisation   is an asset. Working in a 2 shift system is no problem for you.
