Your potential is our inspiration.   Where You’ll Make a Difference Lead the evaluation and selection of suppliers based on quality, service, cost, and capability for the assigned portfolio and sites in scope. Analyze business requirements and identify reliable suppliers that meet operational and compliance needs, including those serving the U.S. market , as this role provides direct support to North America. Participate in the development of sourcing strategies , contributing to decision‑making for materials and services across both local and U.S. categories. Identify productivity and cost‑optimization opportunities , collaborating with Improvement Leaders and Center of Excellence (COE) teams. Research and develop alternative supply sources , working closely with Buyers, Senior Buyers, and Executive Buyers, including exploring new supplier options in the U.S. market. Oversee contract implementation, supplier performance, and daily interactions, resolving operational issues related to quality, delivery, pricing, and service. Document supplier issues related to quality, service, safety, and supply in sourcing quality databases and drive resolution. Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen procurement processes and supplier performance. Negotiate and deliver cost savings, execute Tail Spend strategies, and manage spot and urgent buys effectively. What Makes You the Right Fit Bachelor’s degree in Administration or a related field. 3+ years of relevant Procurement experience , especially in operational purchasing of chemicals . Advanced English , with strong knowledge and understanding of the U.S. supplier landscape, market practices, pricing behaviors, and operating dynamics , as this role provides direct support to the U.S. market. Experience in sourcing , supplier management, and negotiation with both local and international vendors. Ability to resolve vendor issues related to delivery delays, quality concerns, supply shortages, pricing discrepancies, and blocked invoices . Understanding of market dynamics , labor/market rates, and factors that influence cost and supplier performance. Familiarity with Auction Tools, RFIs, RFQs , RFPs, and sealed bids. Experience supporting contract implementation and monitoring supplier KPIs. SAP knowledge is a plus. How Would You Stand Out?
