Job Summary Are you passionate about hands-on laboratory work? Where You’ll Make a Difference Support Technical Flavorists in the modifications of formulations to support various business needs. Accurately compound flavors following established formulation processes. Handle raw materials, ensuring proper measuring, labeling, documentation, and storage. Maintain organized laboratory conditions and support raw material and flavor stock transfers. Prepare raw materials for internal evaluation. Follow laboratory and plant safety rules as well as GMP requirements. Interface with Applications, Sales, QC, and Sensory teams as needed. Apply flavors into bases and participate in tasting sessions and product evaluations. Build understanding of the flavor creation–to‑application–to‑scale‑up process. Develop knowledge of C&A and R&D libraries and digital tools within the IFF toolbox. What Makes You the Right Fit Strong computer skills, including SAP, Microsoft Office, and other IFF systems. Practical math skills (e.g., dilutions, calculations for flavor preparations). Excellent communication skills for internal and external interactions. Ability to taste and assess sensory properties of flavors and applications. Strong willingness to collaborate and learn. Fluent in English. Organized, self‑driven, detail‑oriented, accountable, and safety‑focused. Strong desire to learn new skills and operate in a dynamic environment. BS/BA in Biological or Chemical Sciences with 1–2 years of lab experience, OR a minimum of 3 years of industrial laboratory or chemical industry experience.
