KONE also provides commercial replacement parts and components for a wide range of third-party equipment. We are looking for a Summer Trainee, Maintenance Field Support to join the Escalator Maintenance Field Support team in the KONE Global Spares Supply Unit. In this role, you will be working mostly with spare part offering development projects to ensure easy spare part identification and high material availability of escalator spares. The summer internship is maximum four months paid full-time work starting during spring, but the start date can be adjusted depending on your studies and preference. This position is located in Hyvinkää, Finland. In this position you get to: Collaborate with Maintenance Field Support technical team as well as other product specialists in KONE and suppliers. Work with multiple projects developing spare part offering Create content into different technical solutions used by the Service technicians in the field Get introduced to multiple different tools used in KONE To be successful in this role, you should have: Bachelor or Master level technical studies in Mechanical Engineering A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies Self-initiative and independent working style Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Good communication skills in English to collaborate with team members and stakeholders It’s an asset if you have: Experience with SAP and PDM systems.
