Air Liquide Europe Business Services (ALEBS) was created in 2019 in Lisbon, Portugal with the mandate to provide financial services for Air Liquide European entities. In the space of 4 years, it has expanded to over 400 employees based in 3 office locations: Lisbon, Tomar and Guarda. This is an evergreen requisition, meaning we are accepting applications for multiple potential roles across various finance functions, including, but not limited to: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Accounting (General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable), Internal Control, Audit, Treasury, and Business Controlling. Essential Qualifications (Must-Haves): Education: A university degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Experience: Relevant professional experience in a core finance function (e.g., Accounting, FP&A, Audit, Treasury, Controlling). We encourage candidates at all levels of experience to apply. Language: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential for international collaboration. Additional proficiency in Portuguese, French, or Spanish is a significant advantage. Technical Skills: Proven competence with Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is highly desired. Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, impeccable attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and excellent communication skills. Preferred/Desired Qualifications (Wants): Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, CMA). Experience working within a Global Business Service (GBS) or a global, matrixed organization. Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and experience with finance digitalization projects.
