Position Summary The Assistant Manager, Service Sales is responsible for driving service sales and business development for mtu applications within the assigned portfolio. The role focuses on developing business by maintaining existing customers, acquiring new customers, and penetrating new market segments. The position also requires managing both internal and external customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and contribute to business growth. What you will be doing: Sales & Business Development Plan, monitor and report application business performance, including service sales contribution towards Aftermarket & Technical Services (ATS) goals. Proactively sell mtu service products to end users and governmental customers, following the route-to-market strategy. Grow service business revenue through customer retention, upselling, and market expansion. Develop and sustain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and key accounts to drive business success. Support network development and continuous improvement of service business capabilities. Customer & Market Management Provide accurate and timely service, customer, and market information to relevant internal stakeholders. Ensure customer satisfaction by managing expectations, handling escalations, and resolving issues effectively. Conduct customer visits, business reviews, and performance discussions to strengthen partnerships. Commercial Management Achieve incoming orders and revenue targets. Maximise profitability through strategic pricing and effective contract negotiation. Ensure quotes are prepared in accordance with applicable regulations and submitted on time. Implement approved sales strategies and initiatives within the assigned territory. Key Account Management Lead account planning and relationship management for strategic customers. Identify business opportunities within key accounts and ensure service excellence to maintain long-term relationships. Other Responsibilities Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and share best practices. Undertake special assignments as delegated by the line manager. Position requirements: Education Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Business Administration, Marine, or related discipline (or equivalent qualification). Experience Minimum 8 years of experience in sales or service within the marine or industrial sectors. Experience working with governmental agencies is a plus. Strong track record in customer relationship management and service sales performance. Skills & Competencies Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills. Customer-oriented mindset with a proactive and collaborative approach. Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Ability to work effectively in a challenging and dynamic environment.
