Lumentum is seeking a highly experienced Senior Compensation Program Manager to lead the execution and continuous improvement of global compensation programs. This role has significant global scope and program ownership, responsible for managing complex compensation cycles and initiatives across regions. The role requires strong operational discipline, deep technical compensation expertise, and the ability to independently manage global compensation programs while partnering closely with HR, Finance, Legal, and business leaders. The ideal candidate brings hands-on execution strength, analytical rigor, and the ability to drive structured, timely delivery in a fast-paced global environment. Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end execution of global compensation cycles, including project planning, milestone tracking, and cross-functional coordination to ensure accurate and timely delivery. Administer and continuously improve base pay, incentive, and equity programs, ensuring scalable and consistent execution across regions. Conduct global market benchmarking, job pricing, and internal pay equity analyses to support competitive and equitable pay decisions. Maintain and update global compensation policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory and governance requirements. Partner with HRBPs, Finance, and business leaders on compensation program execution and related guidance. Support complex initiatives such as salary structure updates, job architecture maintenance, and M&A integration through hands-on analysis and implementation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. 10+ years of progressive compensation experience, including ownership of large-scale global compensation cycles in complex organizations. Demonstrated experience administering compensation programs across multiple countries and regions, supporting populations of 5,000+ employees (experience in larger global environments preferred). Proven experience managing end-to-end compensation cycles with structured project planning, cross-functional coordination, and disciplined execution. Strong working knowledge of Workday (or similar HRIS) compensation modules for cycle administration, reporting, and data validation. Advanced Excel skills with experience in compensation cost modeling, budgeting support, and data analysis. Experience conducting global market benchmarking, job pricing, and pay equity analysis. Solid understanding of global compensation regulations, governance standards, and internal controls. Demonstrated ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear, data-driven guidance to HR and business stakeholders. High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information. Preferred Qualifications : CCP, GRP, or other relevant compensation certification. Experience in the technology or semiconductor industry. Additional Requirement: Presence is required onsite 5 days/week to foster collaboration and productivity. Pay Range: P70-USA-1 :$130,850.00 - $186,900.00 Disclaimer: Final base salary for the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to, job location, where work will be performed, qualifications, work history and relevant experience.
