Your potential is our inspiration. Where You’ll Make a Difference Understand local and international trade related laws and regulations while monitoring, tracking and reporting metrics. Oversee and communicate regulatory changes and develop best practices for compliance and proactively engage on advocacy opportunities. Provide customs and trade related advice to the business on daily basis, including but not limited to HS code classification, origin topics, Inco-terms, special customs procedures, assist with regional export control and sanctions, including due diligence, denied parties screening and licensing determination. Lead and participate communication with local Customs when required. Support business projects and develop compliant trade solutions aligned with requirements (i.e. special economic zone, trusted trade initiatives, authorizations, permits, etc.). Drive cost savings, especially in customs duty savings from FTAs, duty incentives and other programs. Lead internal and external trade related audits. Develop, document and maintain operational processes and procedures. Conduct training to internal customers and improve awareness of trade regulations. What Makes You the Right Fit Bachelor’s Degree in Customs, International Trade, Logistics or any other relevant discipline. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in import and export operation. Strong knowledge of customs and excise procedures in India and APAC region. Capability to develop and apply statistical and computer skills including MS Office and PowerBI. Good networking skills, along with verbal and written communication skills. Strong sense of leadership, teamwork and high ethical standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Willing to travel. How Would You Stand Out? SAP experience is preferred. Recognized Customs training and/or certifications is preferred. Openness, ability to change and continuous improvement.
