Where You’ll Make a Difference Develop product formulations which meet industry standards, national specific requirements and customer demands (profile, legal, cost and stability requirements). Lead and coordinate customer project execution, ensure all resources are in place to maximize new win rate. Identify new opportunities for creating inclusions in our target categories, formulate ideas as to how these can be turned into new products for customers. Guide to develop new products of confectionary and sauce categories, from concept to final product, while evaluating risk of every stage. Independently lead new projects in close dialogue with other departments such as Commercial, Operations, Quality, Customer Service, Procurement. Support commercial team in complex customer projects (product, regulatory compliance, scale up etc.) to design the right solution for the customer. Visits key and high potential accounts with the Commercial team for pro- and reactive projects on need. Provide (on time) together with Commercial, Marketing, Sensory Consumer Insight, all information necessary for the service of the accounts. This includes: Concept/product samples for customer visits / workshops / Innovation days. What Makes You the Right Fit Ability to communicate effectively with all relevant parts of the organization as well as external stakeholders and customers as required. A strong background in developing products in confectionary and sauce categories. The position requires a thorough knowledge about food ingredients and inclusions and uses of the products to recommend appropriate technical solutions to customer problems. Bachelor’s degree in food science and technology or related disciplines (such as chemistry, biochemistry and human nutrition). At least 5 years of experience in the food industry, including at least 2 years in a specific professional field as confectionary and/or sauce manager, etc.) and 2 years in people leadership role. Specific knowledge about the food areas most important are Beverages, Bakery, Dairy, Frozen desserts, Confectionary How Would You Stand Out? A creative attribute and an openness to others creative / innovative ideas. Energetic self-starter with a “can do” attitude, high degree of autonomy and flexibility.
