How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? For larger and more complex construction sites a Construction Manager is delegated to site to support the Site Manager in his responsibilities. For smaller sites, the Construction Manager function may be held by the Site Manager. The responsibilities shall include the duties described in this document and also the administration duties. As a part of the Global E&C Solutions Site Management organization, the Construction Manager is mainly responsible to manage the field activities during the Construction and Pre-/Commissioning phase of the site assigned to him, as well as to assist during the Commissioning phase if necessary. The Construction Manager: Leads and guides the team of Superintendents and Supervisors with emphasis on safety, quality, and schedule. Manages the interfaces between disciplines at site as well as between the subcontractors. Demonstrates an inter-discipline mindset, intellectual and honest profile. Demonstrates beside technical experience a strong management and leadership capability. Provides and reports realistic and reliable forecasts on man-hour consumption, quantities and achievement of milestones. Ensures the quality of construction/installation works according to contract requirements. KNOWLEDGE AND KNOW-HOW SPECIFIC TO THE JOB Construction management tools, procedures Basic knowledge of international technical codes and standards Progress evaluation Basic knowhow to manage HSES in the field Schedule, productivities, rigging and logistics Contractual understanding and letter writing MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES Manage his team as a team player Overcome obstacles Demonstrate decisiveness and enthusiasm Develop alternatives Lead and control important actions in the field Deliver clear and transparent messages to his team and subcontractors Initiate mobilization and demobilization of the sites field team members ___________________ Are you a MATCH? Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent Discipline: Engineering, Construction, Vessels & Machinery - Exposed to Cryogenic plants.
