What you'll do: As Vice President, Sponsor Sales at Global Markets Division of Asia, you will be at the forefront of building lasting partnerships with key clients while supporting the delivery of innovative treasury solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve engaging with financial sponsor and institutional customers to understand their unique needs, facilitating seamless execution of FX and Derivative transactions, and preparing impactful presentations that inform strategic decisions. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple regions to share insights, maximise cross-sell opportunities, and ensure integrated service delivery. By maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulatory changes, you will help safeguard compliance while driving business growth. Your ability to connect with clients, communicate effectively across teams, and provide thoughtful input into deal structuring will be instrumental in achieving success in this role. Bring-in / foster new relationships within the Sponsor space while providing comprehensive account coverage for existing clients to ensure long-term engagement and satisfaction. Support the delivery of tailored banking services by understanding client needs and meeting pre-defined value targets as well as active client KPIs. Manage daily interactions with corporate clients, identifying their requirements to market and deliver a diverse range of treasury products including FX and Derivatives. Oversee the booking of transactions such as foreign exchange deals and derivatives contracts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives. Contribute valuable input into deal structuring by advising on pricing strategies and product offerings that reflect the organisation’s strategic direction. Prepare detailed presentation materials, insightful reports, and essential documentation to support internal decision-making processes and client communications. Build effective relationships with customers to unlock revenue opportunities while consistently delivering a high standard of service. Execute targeted business development activities including product-specific marketing initiatives designed to expand market reach. Collaborate with internal teams across regions as well as external stakeholders to maximise deal opportunities through shared knowledge on FX and Derivatives. Work closely with compliance teams to assess new global markets products, ensuring all activities adhere to regulatory requirements and mitigate compliance risks. What you bring: Your extensive experience in FX and Derivatives equips you with deep technical expertise that enables you to offer valuable guidance on complex transactions. As Vice President, Sponsor Sales at Global Markets Division for Asia, your proven ability to manage sophisticated client portfolios ensures you can build trust-based relationships that drive mutual success. Degree-qualified from Business/Finance/Economics. Minimum 7 years’ experience working with FX and Derivatives products within a reputable financial institution is highly desirable. Proven track record in managing complex client relationships within the corporate or sponsor space over several years. Comprehensive understanding of client and competitor landscape coupled with strong industry awareness. Excellent communication skills enabling you to influence stakeholders positively while presenting ideas clearly. Demonstrated ability to sell products by identifying customer needs and matching them with appropriate solutions. Sound knowledge of local regulations related to banking transactions which helps mitigate risk exposure for the organisation. Experience collaborating effectively with relationship managers across regions to deliver integrated services for clients.
