For our location in Hanover we are looking for you as an Intern/Working Student (m/f/d) in FEM Simulation As part of your at least four months internship or working student position, you will gain insights in the field of FEM simulation and deepen your understanding of battery technology while supporting our cross-functional teams in their day-to-day business.   You will be responsible for the following tasks: Perform structural and dynamic simulations using LS-DYNA for automotive and battery applications, including vibration and dynamic load scenarios Conduct electro-thermal modeling in ANSYS Workbench and APDL Develop and optimize thermal management systems for Li-ion batteries Utilize Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) with ANSYS Fluent for flow and heat transfer analysis in battery manufacturing processes Apply multi-physics simulation techniques to analyze grid corrosion, thermal behavior, and structural integrity in battery systems Your qualifications: Advanced degree in chemistry, physics, process engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable field of study Ideally, you have some initial experience in the chemical-technical or physical-technical field or similar  You are confident in using ANSYS Fluent and MS-Office (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) You have strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide valuable insights  You have a very good command of English and German is an advantage With initiative, commitment, and organizational skills you strengthen our team Knowledge or interest in the Automotive Industry is a plus Your advantages: As a powerful market leader, we offer people with drive and power many good reasons to come to us: Working in an international environment Valuable practical experience A modern office Responsible tasks Free space for your ideas and initiatives Flexible working hours and partial home office possibility  Use of the company's own fitness studio Grants for canteen meals Please upload your application preferably to our career portal or send it to us by e-mail to hannover-ausbildung@clarios.com.
