Job Description Summary The Commercial Finance Manager plays a key strategic role within the regional Finance organization. This role is an individual contributor role partnering closely with the regional Finance Manager to drive profitable and sustainable business growth. In this role, you will design and deliver innovative financial solutions that enable strong customer outcomes while balancing company risk and reward. You will translate complex internal and external business challenges into clear insights and actionable recommendations, shaping best practices that elevate our products, processes, and services. Leveraging deep knowledge of industry trends, you’ll contribute meaningfully to financial decision‑making and long‑term planning. Together with the regional Finance Manager, you will champion initiatives that enhance cash conversion, boost productivity, and strengthen overall financial performance across the business. This role can be remote or hybrid based in either in the below mentioned cities/countries. Job Description Responsibilities You will partner closely with the Regional Finance Manager to provide thoughtful financial leadership and become a trusted advisor to the regional Leadership Team You will dive deep into financial analyses to uncover meaningful insights and offer clear, actionable recommendations that guide strategic business decisions You create and communicate financial reports that tell a compelling story—tailored for senior leadership and designed to bring clarity, accuracy, and context to key financial trends You will own the budgeting and forecasting process , collaborating with FP&A teams and using data, market insights, and sound judgment to build reliable financial plans aligned with business priorities You will evaluate investment opportunities by conducting thorough financial assessments and risk analyses, contributing balanced, well‑founded insights to decision-making You define and monitor KPIs , establishing effective tracking mechanisms that support timely adjustments and proactive financial performance management You will contribute to long‑term strategy , bringing financial expertise and a forward‑looking perspective to planning activities that drive sustainable growth and profitability You will analyze operational processes and financial metrics to identify improvement opportunities and propose practical recommendations that enhance efficiency and cost discipline You will collaborate closely with Controllership , ensuring commercial and operational teams understand and apply GE HealthCare policies effectively You will support balance sheet reviews alongside Controllership, identifying emerging trends, potential risks, and improvement opportunities You will build strong relationships across the business , fostering open communication with internal stakeholders as well as external partners You will oversee billing and credit recovery processes , ensuring timely invoicing, robust controls, and disciplined follow-up to optimize cash flow and minimize delinquencies Qualifications/Required Qualifications: You will bring a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration, along with 8+ years of relevant financial experience You have a strong technical Finance expertise , demonstrating independence in problem‑solving and confident decision‑making You communicate fluently in English and German You will leverage proven Finance experience , guiding teams and contributing to organizational success You will apply your understanding of Commercial Finance principles to support sound business decisions and growth You will demonstrate excellent communication skills , translating complex financial insights into clear, compelling messages You will build strong interpersonal connections , influencing others and driving positive change across levels, functions, and regions—prioritizing regular Gemba walks to stay close to frontline dynamics You will bring critical thinking and a value‑added mindset , supporting and challenging operational teams constructively You will think strategically , translating big‑picture perspectives into actionable, concrete plans You will draw on strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills to manage priorities effectively You will perform under pressure , managing tight deadlines, accelerating actions when needed, and collaborating within a dynamic daily management system You will remain adaptable and flexible , embracing change, navigating ambiguity, and responding quickly to new information or circumstances You will thrive in a matrixed, multicultural environment , working effectively across diverse teams and geographies Ideally (no must have requirement!) you will utilize your strong knowledge of GE HealthCare financial and commercial operating systems to navigate processes and drive efficiencies.
