Job Description Summary This position is central to GE HealthCare’s Service Operations at our Páty Repair Center, where medical devices from across the region are received, refurbished, tested and sent back to customers. It is an onsite role (5 days/week) working in close collaboration with technicians, engineers and back office teams to support an efficient, high quality repair process. The center is currently expanding, offering room for growth and development. The role functions as an operations/back office coordinator supporting the complete repair workflow. Key responsibilities include ensuring the availability of materials and resources, providing daily support to technicians, maintaining accurate documentation and ERP/CRM data, and coordinating information flow across teams internationally—ultimately enabling repaired medical equipment to be returned to customers quickly and safely. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Operational Coordination & Resource Planning Coordinate people, materials, and operational resources to achieve daily repair targets in a timely and cost‑effective manner. Support day‑to‑day operations through planning, organizing and executing repair‑related activities. Ensure smooth handover between shifts to maintain continuity and quality. Maintain and update ERP/CRM systems , repair documentation and internal records. Support the Operations Leader with manpower, equipment and materials planning. Resolve routine operational issues using established procedures; escalate complex cases as needed. Contribute to developing, implementing and adhering to process controls to ensure consistent, reliable operations. Prepare reports, follow up ongoing repair cases, and ensure administrative accuracy at all times. Cross‑functional Collaboration Work closely with service technicians , engineers , logistics , procurement and other internal teams to ensure efficient repair processes. Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve material‑related or process‑related issues. Customer & Distributor Communication Maintain (mainly written) communication with distributors and customers in English. Provide status updates on repair progress and ensure accurate information exchange. Build solid working knowledge of repair processes and apply specialized expertise where needed. Required Qualifications Comfortable working on-site in our Páty office full-time (5 days/week). Previous experience in services , repair center support , operations coordination , back‑office support , or a similar role. Bachelor’s degree or relevant practical experience with a high school diploma. Fluency in Hungarian and English . Strong verbal and written communication skills. Solid organizational skills, attention to detail and willingness to manage multiple ongoing cases. Desired Characteristics Customer‑focused mindset and the ability to support both internal and external stakeholders. Strong sense of ownership and proactivity in driving issues to resolution. Team player with the ability to collaborate across functions in a fast‑paced environment. Comfortable with administrative tasks and ERP/CRM systems.
