Job Description Summary As the Product Sales Specialist Point of Care Ultrasound (PoC), you will be responsible for creating, developing, and winning sales opportunities across our PoC Ultrasound products, solutions, and services by calling on Emergency Medicine, Anesthesia, Critical Care, MSK, and other Point of Care departments and persons. You will be a Sales expert for your assigned territory as well as your product portfolio offerings. You will need to be able to differentiate GE’s offerings and convey compelling value proposition to successfully close sales. You will partner with existing accounts including large, complex, strategic, or tactically important accounts. Additionally, you will be responsible for winning new business in break-in and/or competitive accounts assigned within your territory. The territory is Southern California Counties of Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and parts of Kern GE HealthCare is a leading global medical technology and digital solutions innovator. Job Description Responsibilities    Generating proposals, preparing sales quotations and presentations, planning customer meetings, and demonstrating equipment capabilities on PoC products in your assigned territory.    Maintaining satisfactory after-sale relationships.  Penetrating competitive accounts and communicating current market intelligence back to the business, along with field concerns, issues and requirements.    Providing leadership in market analysis and development/execution of strategies and action plans to drive PoC Ultrasound sales.     Prospecting for new customers and business in addition to growing and maintaining our existing customer portfolio.   Quarterly and annual achievement of multiple sales and revenue targets.    Development of long-term customer relationships coupled with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities that immediately satisfy customer needs. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of own and others sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups and uses analytical thinking and commercial experience to execute policy/strategy. Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market. Ability to prioritize information for decision making. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.   Qualifications: Bachelors Degree & 3 years of experience; or High School Diploma/GED & 5 years of experience; or Bachelors Degree & a graduate of GE HealthCare CLP  Program, or GE Healthcare ASR with 18 months in role. Demonstrated experience presenting complex information both verbally and written to decision makers. Must live in the territory and be willing to travel within the territory (preferably Los Angeles Metro, South Bay, San Fernando Valley, Long Beach, or North Orange County)   Desired Characteristics: Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within a team. Capital equipment sales experience, ideally in the medical industry. Experience in the Capital Hospital Buying Process. Knowledge of how to create, manage, and maintain a Capital Business Funnel. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $84,640.00-$126,960.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
