Job Description Summary We are looking for a passionate and innovative Engineering Manager to lead our algorithms team bringing physiological research into medical technology products. In this role, you will shape the innovation pipeline, advance research of novel methods, and drive the development of algorithms providing clinical insights across multiple product lines. Job Description Responsibilities Provide strategic direction to innovation initiatives and research work Follow industry and academic trends to identify high impact initiatives and partnerships Collaborate with experts to develop novel algorithmic approaches and evaluate their clinical relevance Communicate with customers, clinicians and product management for identifying future needs for new algorithms, performance improvements etc. Communicate globally with different R&D organizations for identifying opportunities to exchange and platform algorithm technology, clinical data, testing capabilities, etc. Bring innovations into technology roadmaps aligned with customer needs Drive change for use of AI in development and product algorithms Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, common goals, and ownership Attract and mentor a team of talented algorithms developers supporting their personal growth Lead algorithm teams in program execution Qualifications and experience Developing signal processing and algorithms Applying Machine Learning for data science Using software development best practices to improve processes and tools Demonstrated experience leading people, teams, and projects Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills Ability to inspire, set clear expectations, coach, and build an inclusive culture Solution-oriented and curious mindset with passion for continuous learning Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, and EU work permit Desirable skills Master’s degree in the field of Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or equivalent Passion for technology and innovation with inner self-drive to solve challenges Experience hiring and developing top talent in highly effective engineering teams Experience in medical devices, physiological measurements, test automation, Linux, build & integration We Offer Unique opportunity to work on leading-edge healthcare technologies and products that will revolutionize the healthcare industry and improve the lives of millions around the world Learn in a diverse multicultural environment on a site that has 700 medical-technology professionals under one roof in product development, manufacturing, sales, service, etc. Development and career growth opportunities.
