Internship program dates: June 8 - August 21, 2026 Education Required: Enrolled in Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific, business, or related field   General Description/Scope of Responsibilities (Internship): The R&D Quality Team is looking for a Business Operations Intern to support the Pharmacovigilance Quality Assurance (PVQA) team within the R&D Quality organization, with a strong focus on patient safety and compliance across global Pharmacovigilance (PV) modules. This role offers a unique opportunity to make an immediate and meaningful impact in a safety-critical environment by strengthening operational excellence, compliance readiness, and quality oversight. Key responsibilities include: Lead and optimize day-to-day business operations to ensure efficient functioning across RDQ and PVQA teams. Develop and maintain operational frameworks, governance structures, and standard processes that enhance consistency, compliance, and quality across global PV activities. Identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and process improvement, enabling leadership to focus on strategic and risk-based priorities. Partner with Audit & Inspections teams to provide operational coordination, documentation support, and inspection readiness activities as required. Support oversight activities that prioritize patient safety and adherence to global PV regulatory requirements. Help maintain and strengthen a culture of compliance, quality, and continuous improvement across RDQ. Facilitate information flow, meeting management, and leadership routines that drive clarity, accountability, and transparency. Manage and optimize internal websites to ensure effective, timely, and accessible information sharing across teams. Essential Functions of the Internship: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Experience in R&D, Quality, or regulated environments (GxP) is a plus. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively at all organizational levels.
