At the Valeo plant in Czechowice-Dziedzice, we manufacture powertrain systems that support the reduction of fuel consumption and lower exhaust emissions. This includes starters, air throttles, exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valves, electromechanical actuators, and innovative electric drives. Job description: Analyze specifications in order to define performance criteria to be achieved; Develop innovative and reliable solutions that fulfill specifications; Design 3D models (CATIA) and prepare definition files for products, prototypes and test means; Prepare 2D drawings (CATIA) with functional dimensioning according to ISO standard; Lead design activities with internal and external contributors; Prepare technical files to justify choice of concept and solutions; Build tolerance stack-up and optimize dimensioning; Define and identify functional and critical characteristics; Support the project planning edition and update; Present product definition status at Design Review and Drawing Review; Manage Product definition files into PLM database and BOM building. Requirements: Education in mechanics or electrical engineering; 3-5 years of experience on a similar position or within project network; Knowledge of Catia V5; Experience in project network will be a strong asset; Engineering mindset and good knowledge of technical drawing; Very good knowledge of English; Teamwork spirit and good organizational skills; Curiosity and readiness for challenges.
