In June 2025, Crane announced our intent to acquire Precision Sensors & Instrumentation (“PSI”), a leading provider of sensor-based technologies for aerospace, nuclear and process industries, from Baker Hughes. The $1.1 billion acquisition will add roughly $400 million in sales and 1,700 associates to Crane. PSI includes the Panametrics, Druck, and Reuter-Stokes brands that manufacture instrumentation and sensor-based technologies to detect and analyze pressure, flow, gas, moisture, and radiation across various industries, serving customers in more than 90 countries. Crane is so excited for the planned welcome of these brands into our portfolio and the role they will play in continuing to drive profitable growth for the company. OPPORTUNITY This exciting opportunity is part of the nuclear business. The acquisition of Reuter- Stokes enables the nuclear business to expand their strong foothold in the nuclear industry. With the acquisition, we will be able to provide additional solutions to support the industry. These solutions include precise radiation measurement, nuclear reactor monitoring, UV flame detection, and downhole sensing for directional drilling. This is a unique opportunity as the Reuter-Stokes organization joins Crane Nuclear. Reuter-Stokes previously operated under a shared service model for financial planning and analysis. This FP&A Manager role represents a tremendous opportunity to establish a dedicated FP&A function that directly supports the business. The site has not had direct FP&A leadership, and this role will be instrumental in building forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis capabilities. The FP&A Manager will support the VP/GM and other key managers within the business. Supporting a leadership team that is new to Crane requires a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach to financial planning. The FP&A Manager will have primary responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis for approximately 170 associates at the Twinsburg, OH location. They will collaborate with the VP/GM and senior leaders to understand the strategy of the business and ensure the financial planning infrastructure is aligned to support key deliverables and profitable growth. RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Leadership, Operational Excellence & Growth Partner with the VP/GM and VP of Finance to understand the business strategy and translate it into actionable financial plans. Lead the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and operational realities. Build and maintain financial models to support scenario planning, investment analysis, and long-range planning. Analyze monthly financial results, identify trends, and provide insights to support business decisions. Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards to senior leadership, highlighting performance against key metrics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial plans are integrated with operational strategies. Support cost containment initiatives by identifying areas of financial risk and opportunity. Champion the Crane Business System by applying standard work and participating in kaizen activities to improve financial planning processes. Financial Reporting & Analysis Consolidate and analyze financial data to produce accurate and timely reporting packages for internal stakeholders. Develop and maintain reporting tools and templates that support business unit performance tracking. Ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting across the business unit, adhering to corporate standards and timelines. Provide variance analysis and commentary on actual results versus budget, forecast, and prior periods. Support ad hoc reporting needs for leadership and corporate finance. Cost Management & Profitability Partner with operations and supply chain teams to understand cost drivers and identify opportunities for margin improvement. Analyze product and customer profitability to support pricing strategies and commercial decisions. Monitor and report on cost trends, including material, labor, and overhead, and recommend corrective actions where needed. Support capital investment analysis and ROI modeling for strategic initiatives. Business Partnership & Decision Support Act as a financial advisor to business leaders, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions. Participate in cross-functional reviews, including strategy sessions, operating plan development, and performance reviews. Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders. Support financial aspects of business cases, including new product development, operational changes, and market expansion. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience working closely with senior leadership and providing strategic financial insights. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-oriented culture. High integrity and commitment to Crane’s values and ethical standards. Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel; experience with planning tools (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan) is a plus. EDUCATION An undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree or MBA is strongly preferred.
