BASIC FUNCTION: The Pressure Sewer Market Manager will have complete ownership for the Pressure Sewer market by working with our Channel Partners and Engineering firms to drive Barnes product specifications over the competition while reporting to the VP/GM. The Pressure Sewer Market Manager will have direct responsibility for established revenue targets and accountability for aggressive organic growth to become the leading supplier within the highly competitive Pressure Sewer marketspace. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: The Pressure Sewer Market Manager will be expected to develop and manage the assigned territory performance with respect to sales and margin growth, productivity, policy, and business practices. In doing so, this person will work closely with the VP/GM as well as the engineering support team.   Responsible for the efforts to develop and deliver upon a multi-year strategic plan for the Pressure Sewer product line to achieve profitable growth and sustainable competitive advantage across diverse market segments and sales channels. Develop and lead the Pressure Sewer sales team (Three Employees) to achieve aggressive organic growth by selling CP&S basin packages and separate grinder pumps through domestic distributors on a resale basis for small/large projects and grinder pump replacements. Resolve day-to-day internal and/or external challenges or complaints while anticipating and preventing potential conflicts. Comply with, and administer all company policies and procedures throughout the Crane Pumps & Systems product lines. Position requires approximately 30-40% travel. Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Bachelor’s degree in Sales or Technical Field A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience Sales/Marketing; pump application experience preferred Ability to attract, develop and retain results-oriented sales talent. Strong problem solving and analytical skills; ability to adapt to change Outstanding organizational, interpersonal and communication skills Proven ability to effectively present products and solutions to customers and to successfully close sales opportunities – not afraid to ask for the sale Excellent written and verbal language skills This description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work being performed by employees within this classification.
