Job Title: Product Information Management (PIM) Intern Department Item Database – Enrichment --- Position Summary The Product Information Management (PIM) Intern will support the Digital and Product teams in maintaining accurate, complete, and high-quality product data within the company’s PIM system. This internship provides hands-on experience in product data governance, data enrichment, and cross-functional collaboration with merchandising, marketing, supply chain, and IT teams. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate interested in eCommerce, data management, digital operations, or product content strategy. --- Key Responsibilities · Assist in maintaining and updating product information within the PIM system · Support data enrichment activities including: · Product descriptions · Technical specifications · Images and digital assets · Categorization and attributes · Perform data quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency · Identify and resolve data discrepancies across systems (ERP, PIM, eCommerce platform) · Support new product launches by ensuring product content is complete and published on time · Assist in standardizing product taxonomy and attribute structures · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate product information · Document processes and help improve data governance practices · Generate basic reports on product data quality and completeness --- Qualifications Required · Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in: · Business · Marketing · Information Systems · Data Analytics · Supply Chain · Or a related field · Strong attention to detail and organizational skills · Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., sorting, filtering, basic formulas) · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Preferred · Familiarity with PIM, ERP, or eCommerce platforms · Basic understanding of product lifecycle management · Experience working with large datasets · Knowledge of data quality principles --- Skills & Competencies · Analytical mindset · Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy · Process-driven thinking · Strong collaboration skills · Problem-solving ability · Willingness to learn new systems and tools --- Learning Opportunities During this internship, the candidate will gain experience in: · Product data governance and management · Digital merchandising operations · Cross-functional business collaboration · Data quality analysis · eCommerce and omnichannel product strategy Not the right fit?  Let us know you're interested in a future opportunity by joining our Talent Community on jobs.genpt.com or create an account to set up email alerts as new job postings become available that meet your interest!
