We’re assembling a brand-new DevOps team to support one of our major customers – a mature and tech-savvy enterprise working with cutting-edge data center technologies. Join us as Expert Network Security Engineer! D aily challenges Leading deep-level troubleshooting in conjunction with vendor and third-party support Planning and implementation of normal, standard, or emergency changes within the applicable technology platform that you are responsible for   Proactively anticipating issues or situations which impact the service quality   Owning proactive lifecycle vulnerability management Participating in Projects and Problem Management lifecycle activities   Building good awareness of the customers’ business, environment, support processes and adopting new technologies   Participating in on-call duty shift schedule   e X perience and skills required Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or related disciplines. Alternatively, an equivalent level of experience. At least 5 years of IT experience, ideally in support of Network Security environments Strong technical knowledge of Firewall technologies (Checkpoint, Cisco, Fortinet) Expert knowledge in at least two of the following Checkpoint, Proxy (Skyhigh - McAfee), Load Balancers ASM modules (F5 or other similar vendors.), Cisco ISE, Cisco ACI Knowledge about security threats and remediation Good understanding and adherence to the ITIL framework (Change Management, etc.) and DevOPS model Autonomy and good problem-solving skills Fluent in English language What we will consider as an advantage:   Cloud Based Firewalls (Azure, AWS),   Experience in scripting and automation (e.g. Terraform, Python, Ansible, GitLab or similar tools) Experience with Cisco Nexus switching platforms Infoblox – DNS/DHCP Experience in enterprise environments or large-scale network operations C ompany benefits At DXC Technology, we don’t just offer jobs - we build careers.
