At DXC Spain we are looking for a Senior Unix Administrator to join our great team. Requirements/Knowledges: Diploma in IT or equivalent with minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position. High level of English. Installation and maintenance of Linux servers (preferably RedHat). Installation and maintenance of Solaris servers (preferably RedHat). Knowledge about different types of H/W / Blades / etc. Virtualization / Disk administration / User administration / etc. Ansible. Patching / Upgrades. Knowledge of Network and Storage (SAN & NAS) technologies. RedHat Satellite. Experience on Migrations / Upgrades. Capacity/Performance analysis. Ability to learn new technologies. Scripting skills. Tasks: Analysis and testing of new technical solutions. Work with architects to design new projects. Implement "Proof Of Concept" tests for new technologies/solutions. Implement the most complex tasks of projects. Automate repetitive tasks. Document easy tasks to be transferred to operations. Optimization of the current environment. Provide technical information related with these technologies to other teams. Perform Disaster Recovery test. What will you find at DXC? Professional development.
