Responsibilities Part of a scrum team responsible for the design and development of: Services implementing REST-based APIs Browser-based user interfaces (may be either internally-facing or externally-facing) Quality Assurance and Application Performance Monitoring test strategies to validate proper function in deployed environments Shared tools or libraries as appropriate Specific other delegated tasks assigned by a supervisor in the Engineering job family Complete day-to-day tasks without immediate supervision, but with ready access to advice from more experienced team members Collaborate with other engineers on the team, including pair programming and code reviews Work with scrum master to break stories into tasks and provide estimates, and with the team to ensure the development efforts are focused and aligned with stories Debug and diagnose urgent issues that may arise with production services Exercise judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of both standard and complex techniques and procedures Utilize in-depth professional knowledge and acumen to develop models and procedures, and monitor trends Resolve non-routine issues escalated from more junior team members About Evernorth Health Services Evernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, creates pharmacy, care and benefit solutions to improve health and increase vitality.
