Role: Senior Statutory Accountant for Germany Location: Hybrid from Wrocław, Warszawa, Kraków or Gdańsk Essential Job Functions: Supervise the development and implementation of financial policies and internal controls. Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports. Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate financial audits for the DXC companies in Germany. Monitor and enforce compliance with accounting regulations and internal controls for both US GAAP as well as German HGB. Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making. Foster collaboration and teamwork within the controllership team. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience Fluent knowledge of English (min. B2) Typically, 7+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role Proven experience in financial management, accounting, and control functions Proficiencies in financial reporting, audit compliance, and risk management Continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology Other Qualifications: An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) is a plus​ Knowledge of the German language will be an asset Why would you join us?
