Software Engineering Lead Analyst   Evernorth, a leading Health Services company, is looking for exceptional engineers/developers in our Data and Analytics organization. In this role, you will actively participate with your development team on initiatives that support Evernorth's strategic goals as well as subject matter experts to understand business logic you will be engineering. As a software engineer, you will help develop an integrated architectural strategy to support next-generation capabilities on an enterprise-wide scale. You will work in an agile environment, delivering user-oriented products. The ideal candidate will work in a team environment that demands technical excellence, whose members are expected to hold each other accountable for the overall success of the end product. Focus for this team is on the delivery of innovative solutions to complex problems, but also with a mind to drive simplicity in refining and supporting of the solution by others Roles & Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using OpenShift and Kubernetes. Implement CI/CD pipelines leveraging GitHub Actions and related tools. Conduct metadata and data classification scans to ensure compliance and security across diverse datasets. Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity across multiple platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data management strategies with organizational goals. Stay updated on healthcare data regulations (HIPAA, HITRUST) and incorporate best practices into solutions. Qualifications Required Experience & Education:   5 - 8 years of relevant Data Engineering Experience. 6–7 years of hands-on experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker for container orchestration and deployment, GitHub for version control and CI/CD workflows. 6–7 years of hands-on experience with Unix scripting Minimum 2 years of experience in Metadata management and data classification scans across structured and unstructured data environments. 6-7 years of experience working with any relational or NoSQL database (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Exposure to healthcare domain standards, compliance, and data governance practices. Strong understanding of containerization, orchestration, and cloud-native architectures. Proficiency in data governance, metadata frameworks, and data security. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work in agile environments and manage multiple priorities.
