Job Description: At DXC Technology Polska, we are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to strengthen our German-speaking Java team, working mainly from Wrocław, in a flexible hybrid working model. This role focuses on complex projects within the public, energy, automative, or other big sectors, where you will take a leading technical role in designing, implementing, and evolving mission-critical software systems. You will work closely with international development teams and act as a key technical partner for customer architects, contributing to long-term, scalable software architectures. German language proficiency at a minimum C1 level is required, along with strong English skills. Your responsibilities Leading the implementation of complex requirements using Java and modern frameworks Designing and evaluating technical solution concepts based on deep understanding of customer architectures and business requirements Acting as a technical counterpart to customer architects and supporting architectural decisions Ensuring code quality, maintainability, and adherence to architectural guidelines Creating and reviewing technical documentation, specifications, and code documentation in German and English Supporting and mentoring less experienced developers, when required Required skills and experience Several years of professional experience as a Java Developer, including work on complex enterprise systems Strong expertise in Java, JUnit, Git, relational databases, and modern web technologies In-depth experience with JEE-based architectures and frameworks such as Hibernate, JSF, PrimeFaces, JavaFX Solid experience with the integration of frontends (e.g. React, Angular) Proven experience in software architecture and technical design Experience working in agile development environments German (minimum C1) and very good English skills Nice to have (but not required) Strong knowledge of security, cryptography, authentication/authorization, MFA, eID solutions (Keycloak, eIDAS, LDAP) Advanced experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, SonarQube) API design and automated testing strategies, including mockups and simulators Experience leading or contributing to data migration projects Knowledge of additional programming languages and paradigms Advanced automated testing experience (Selenium, Jira XRay) Experience with Infrastructure as Code and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Proven experience working with public sector institutions or government authorities Relevant certifications Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another relevant field or Equivalent professional experience and practical qualifications What DXC Technology Polska offers Stable employment in a global, well-established organization Modern and accessible offices Comprehensive private medical care Life insurance package Multisport Card Clear career paths and access to high-impact, long-term projects Unlimited access to DXC University and external learning platforms Broad certification portfolio with leading technology partners Employee Referral Program with financial incentives Engagement in CSR, charity, and environmental initiatives “Dixi Cool” activities, sports, wellness, and cultural benefits Employee Recognition Program Employee Assistance Program with 24/7 personal and family support #LI-Hybrid At DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success.
