Job Description: Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Middleware Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in engineering with a minimum of six years of relevant work experience. The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in middleware technologies such as WebSphere, Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, and IIS, and in containerized environments, including but not limited to Docker and Kubernetes.  Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Minimum six years of relevant experience. Proficiency in middleware technologies including WebSphere, Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, and IIS. Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux server administration. Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with cloud services (AWS is a plus). Ability to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and a quick learner mindset. Responsibilities: Installation, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of applications hosted on various middleware platforms such as WebSphere, Tomcat, JBoss, and IIS. Deploying, running and maintaining Docker and Kubernetes containers. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to middleware technologies hosted in containerized environments. Monitoring application and infrastructure alerts and ServiceNow tickets on a 24x7 basis. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery. Contributing to patching and updating the Middleware products as well as the physical servers to ensure they remain compliant with the latest security mandates. Contributing to documentation and SOPs related to the best practices we follow. At DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success.
