About your team The technology service team provides IT services to the Fidelity International business, globally. These include the development and support of business applications that underpin our revenue, operational, compliance, finance, legal, and marketing and customer service functions. About your role As an experienced Technical Manager, you’re expected to be able to lead project team to deliver software development project, meeting business objectives while ensuring within agreed cost, timelines, and quality. This senior role requires strong technical expertise, good leadership and people management skill to manage a team with developers, testers and BA, and be able to motivate them when it’s necessary. The candidate shall have a proven track record of delivering high-quality mobile solutions and driving best practices in mobile development, this role requires direct collaboration with stakeholders from both China and Canada, good English skill is required to ensure smooth communication. About you Fast learning and strong logical thinking, the successful candidate for this position is expect to contribute in below areas: • Lead project team to deliver software development project within agreed cost, timelines and quality. • Make sure project following the company stands including security, compliance and other rules. • Communicate with different teams to make sure good cooperation among them. • Work with different team to figure out technical solutions or make good decisions. • Manage the team members and provide guidance and help when it’s necessary. Required Skills & Qualifications • At least 8 Year software development project management experience. • At least 3 Years people management experience. • Skilled in the architecture, design and implementation of complex, bespoke technology solutions for the Enterprise market with a strong focus on a specific business unit. • Advanced knowledge of Java technologies including Spring and Spring Boot • Advanced knowledge of cloud • Experience on Agile and mobile application delivery is preferred • Calm approach when under pressure. Able to lead and direct team effectively under such situations • Experience of managing technology driven business process change • Effective leadership skills including negotiation, persuasion, salesmanship, teaching, managing, conflict resolution, bridge-building and political astuteness • Ability to multi-task under demanding conditions, show flexibility, commitment and integrity. • Must be a team player, self-motivated, possess good inter-personal communication skills, good analytical and problem solving skills, good documentation skills • Excellent written and oral communications skills in English.
