We’re on the hunt for a reliable and hands-on Mechanical Seal Repair Technician to join our Acacia Ridge team. In this role, you’ll be the go-to person responsible for running the repair and rebuild facility and responding to sales enquiries for new seals and repairs. If you enjoy hands-on work, spotting issues before they become problems, and being part of a team that values safety and quality, this is the role for you! Duties and Responsibilities: Stripping, assessment and all aspects of repair and testing of mechanical seals Assembly of custom mechanical seals Attending to sales enquiries for new mechanical seals and seals repairs Maintenance of the repair equipment and conditioning of lapping plates etc Submission of customer quotations in a timely manner Preparing seal condition reports, clearly identifying & articulating failure modes To be successful: Mechanical seal repair experience proven through work history Computer literate Excellent organisational skills Ability to work autonomously Excellent technical reporting skills Strong understanding of mechanical seal technology and repair process Why Motion?
