Neuro-Ophthalmologist – Faculty Position Full time University Health Physicians , is a multi-specialty academic group practice affiliated with the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine (UMKC SOM) in conjunction with its major teaching facility University Health (UH). Job Description The University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, University Health, and University Health Physicians seek a fellowship-trained, full-time clinical faculty member in neuro-ophthalmology.  This is an ideal position for a recent fellowship graduate or an individual desiring a transition to academic medicine to join with our established neuro-ophthalmologist in building the premier neuro-ophthalmology center in Kansas City.  There are unique career advancement opportunities for clinical practice, clinical research, and teaching of medical students and neurology and ophthalmology residents.  Applicants must be board certified or eligible in neurology or ophthalmology.  We are located in Kansas City, Missouri which is recognized as one of America’s Most Liveable cities.  This vibrant community located in the heart of the Midwest has all the amenities of the city while retaining the friendliness and relaxed atmosphere of Midwestern living.
